Unique Hotel in a Wonderful Historic City

Reviewed 3 november, 2018

Hotel La Suite was a wonderful place to stay in Avignon. Steve and Sophie went out of their way to make you feel comfortable, they were incredibly friendly hosts. No matter what a hotel is like it's the attitude and friendliness of the people who run it that make such a difference. We had booked a regular room in the hotel but when we arrived they told us that since the hotel was not fully booked they were upgrading us to a suite. It was such a gorgeous room, we had a bedroom, sitting room, huge bathroom and a really large balcony. The hotel was very romantic, comfortable, cozy and tons of character. I would highly recommend that you stay here if you plan on visiting Avignon.

Wonderful family stay

Reviewed 6 august, 2018

My family, two kids ages 3 and 9 and my husband, enjoyed our five nights at this boutique hotel. The owners were welcoming, helpful and attentive. The family suite was very clean with interesting art and a lovely bathroom with shower and a tub. The lovely garden and good sized pool were real highlights as well. The location was peaceful yet close to a mix of good restaurants and grocery markets. We loved coming back to this hotel after a hot day of touring the area. Thank you!

Lovely Garden

Reviewed 3 august, 2018

This is a lovely small boutique hotel. Even it’s a small hotel but they have a beautiful & lovely garden which look much more beautiful than the picture. Very peaceful. Suit for who have their own car. Many eateries nearby. I have a very pleasant stay here for 3 nights.

Perfect boutique hotel in convenient location

Reviewed 10 august, 2017

My family and I stayed at this pretty hotel for 3 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed it for many reasons: - Location The village is very cosy, pictoresque and quaint and a perfect base to tour the region and visit beautiful Avignon, which is full of tourists and would have not been as relaxing. You can walk to Avignon (20 minutes) or take the bus (5 minutes). We chose to walk and come back by bus (beware with timings as busses are not always reliable). - Accomodation We had the suite with terrace: spacious with beautiful parquet floors, extra comfortable double bed and sofa bed in the elevated sitting room where our teenage children slept, bathroom with walk-in shower and plenty of storage. Terrace really great to sip an aperitif before dinner. - Breakfast The very kind hosts ask you the day before the type of preferred breakfast and they'll buy fresh bread, pastries and savoury products in the morning. Perfect. - Swimming pool So refreshing after a day out visiting sites. It is located in their very pretty garden. Plenty of towels and deckchairs. - Wifi Strong and functioning everywhere. - Logistics The hotel has a very handy private parking in the back of the building. They leave you a code to enter also the hotel as the hosts are not always around. I found this very practical and safe. - Hosts A super kind couple with great taste for cinema, theatre and art in general. The decoration inside and outside the hotel - which is a listed building perfectly kept - is very tasteful and elegant with a few humurous small pieces which put a smile in your face. So, perfect stay. We could not have asked for more.
