The hotel is conveniently situated if you headed for Ruen from Paris and offers good breakfast at reasonable price. Decor and rooms could be improved but it's ok for one night. There 24 hour reception in case you are arriving late.
Well situated and generally good meals

The team at the Campanile are friendly - and the food is generally good although the savoury buffet is almost all meat now and not much salad. As an almost non meat eater I would prefer more salad as before. The fish meals were all good and the vegetables served wtih them were excellent. The dessert buffet was good especially the Panacotta. The bath towels could do with replacing as they are now very thin - but the bed is comfortable and the hotel quiet.
Typical camping attitude....

Oh well, before all, I did not stay at the hotel but went to check if I could get a room. I was waiting for 10 minutes until, “Manu”, came over to help me. Very friendly but left me, after 1 minutes, upset because his “regular clients or friends, were leaving without to say good bye. Good attitude but reminded me the film “Camping” ..... I was waiting but after 45 minutes, I decided to leave. Oh well, at the same time, other clients were waiting to check out, and very unhappy of thei stay. Very noisy almost looked like a party was organized all night. At the end of the day, the camping is not for me.
Great little place

Stayed here to go to versailles. Great staff very friendly. Rooms a bit small as bathroom but standard campanile. Great restaurant on site and fresh. Not far from local golf club where there is a nice restaurant. Nice town nearby with shops etc. Would return.
Two Night Stay

Spent a couple of nights in a 'Superior' room on the way back from holidaying in the Vendee region. Have stayed in quite a few Campanile hotels and our room looked the same as many of the others and was a bit smelly until we lifted the shutters and opened the window. Prices have gone up a bit but it's still reasonably good value for money and was clean and comfortable. Agree with a previous reviewer about them being tight with the teabags in the room and I know the French aren't big on milk in their tea but two minuscule cartons between two people is taking things a bit far. Luckily we brought our own from the supermarket down the road. Breakfast had gone up to 13 euros which is a but pricey for a bit of bread and cheese but if you want clean, comfortable and reasonably priced you can't go far wrong. Noise levels at this particular hotel were pretty loud due to loud music from a wedding party nearby with a lot of the guests saying at the hotel.
