Best of the Best
My family and I had to choose this hotel from an emergency exit of another. Best Western wan not only accommodating in the early morning hrs., but their registration process was also awesome. The rooms was magnificent, emagulent, and well stocked. The only flaw was with the staff that served the complimentary breakfast. The staff member was rude and treated us with no respect. The matter was professionally handled by management with respect, courtesy and compassion. The front desk staff, particularly Ms. Betty ensured that my family was well taken care of and our needs met. Thank you Best Western VA Beach!!!!!!!

Best location on the boardwalk
My wife and I have always loved traveling to Virginia Beach for relaxing and fishing off the pier and it didn't take long to realize BW plus sandcastles had the best location literally overlooking the fishing pier and we've been staying there every sense. The rooms are clean, the staff treats you like family and the breakfast is always hot and well organized. The best part is being able to literally see from my room when the bite turns on at the pier. I can just grab my rods and head out the back door.
Awesome breakfast
As a chef the breakfast was better than expected, rooms were clean and plenty of towels. The pool was great although the water in the hot tub was cold. I would definitely recommend for a small family or a couple.
It was average at best.
We got the room with a hot tub in it and I couldn't find a picture which showed the full room so I had to hope that the hot tub was a good size. It's not a bad size for two, but it is still cramped and the water does NOT get hot. It does stay warm but not hot at all. That's also the same in the shower, just warm water. The room was clean and the staff was kid so I am happy about that. Overall it's an okay place but I wouldn't return. Not when there are much better places in walking distance.
