We regularly use Premier Inn because, except for occasional issues, the hotels are clean, reasonably priced and well located. This one ticked those boxes and Ollie in the restaurant was a great host. We’ll definitely come back if in the area

I am a road weary traveller, stayed in hundreds of hotels, including premierinns. This is one of the best all round. It has a lift which is helpful, great rooms and a first class team looking. Recommended

The hotel is situated at a junction but yet my room was quiet. It was clean and very comfortable. The staff were extremely warm, friendly and helpful. The meals were good and decently priced. The only downside was there was no phone in the room to call Reception, as room service reduced due to Covid, so I had to go down to reception to ask for extra supplies, if needed. Also, the walls are probably thin, as I overhear a neighbouring room rather loudly. Overall, I had an absolutely restful, lovely stay! And would definitely recommend.
Modern, clean, Free parking but let down as rooms can be warm.

The rooms are very modern and clean. This hotel has a walk in shower, rather than the standard bathtub. The shower is very strong. Receptionist are polite and you can check out...hands free by putting your card in the check out box. The room given to us was very quiet. There is a thyme restaurant but we did not use this. There is no sofa bed but just a chair. The bed seemed to be smaller? The TV was big for the standard size but clear. Just Freeview. Free tea/coffee. Hair dryer present. Overall, I would say it's decent place to stay let down with no Aircon. The room is quite warm.
A good nights sleep at a reasonable price

We needed to break a long journey from the South West of England to Edinburgh, and chose this location as being approx half way. Easy to find (close to the M6 motorway) and booking in was efficient, easy and welcoming, as was the room and included facilities - tea/coffee etc., and as most Premier Inn rooms are identical in layout it was easy to 'settle in'. - An excellent evening meal was provided in the adjacent 'Beefeater' restaurant, at excellent value by virtue of our booking a 'meal deal' when making the reservations. The bed was large and comfy and a good nights sleep meant we were ready to continue our journey refreshed, after tucking in to a full English breakfast, again in the adjacent 'Beefeater' restaurant. We repeated the exercise on the return journey, and will do so again, when we next trek back to Scotia for Christmas and the New year !!
