Modern Awesome Little Hotel

I work at Reagan Natl airport during the work week so I usually stay at the Hampton Inn in Crystal City, close enough to walk to work. I decided to shake things up and stay in DC proper and was intrigued by what I read about the Motto. I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed. Yes, the rooms are very cozy, but I’m by myself and the location is excellent. The yellow line is across the street so I have a straight shot to the airport. We are right in the middle of China Town, which means a load of great restaurants in an easy walk (Pho last night at Pho 88 and Mussels in Red Sauce tonight at Carmines). The rooms, though tiny are very well appointed. Comfy bed with the controls for the temp within easy reach of the bed. 55” TV, internet works great. I tend to wake really early and went stumbling downstairs for coffee at 4:30, sure enough there was a fresh pot waiting. A single or a couple going to a hockey game or concert at the Cap Center will love this place. Lots of little cubbies and shelves to store things. The place is really modern and clean, the staff is uber friendly and has lots of security measures in place (important when you are in the middle of all of the action). I have a couple more weeks of work here in DC and I’m pretty sure I’ll be staying here.

My wife and I had a great experience at Motto during our weekend in D.C.
We got into our room early, which was very convenient (we knew there were no guarantees of getting in the room early, but our timing was lucky.)
We woke up early and there was complimentary coffee in the lobby that we weren't expecting, so that was a pleasant surprise. (coffee is only there until the cafe opens)
All of the staff was helpful and kind, especially Brooke.
The hotel itself is beautiful, modern and sleek. Everything was clean and comfortable in our room.
Location is great, with easy access to the mall, metro and plenty of restaurants.
We will definitely be choosing this hotel again when we visit D.C. next.
Tiny rooms but good staff

The advantages of this hotel are clear: a helpful, friendly staff and a very central location. The disadvantages are also clear: rooms so small that they barely encompass the bed, and some noise owing mainly to the hotel's being situated where it is. Four stars.
Great Hotel, great location and great service!

My wife and I loved our stay here. Classy style and decor. Rooms are a little small, but they are intelligently designed to make use of the space. The front desk help, especially Brooke and Jordan, we're fantastic. Definitely coming back!

My car was locked away in a parking garages so I was stuck in DC. I had lost some stuff ex ex. The day was just bad.
Long story short Kenyarda Howard aka “Yarde” helped me and my girlfriend book a room for the night with the upmost excellent customer service I’ve ever had at a Hilton. He provided knowledge on the company’s website and more benefits the Hilton has to offer. Providing us with toothpaste, toothbrushes, soaps, ear-cleaners and extra masks. He was kind, funny and had a lot of patience.
I just want to say thank you to him and the Hilton company for employing a person like Yarde. He needs employee of the month or a raise. I dont know but that man deserves something for helping out.
