This hotel is run down, not what I expected from a Red Lion. Don’t get a room on the road side you won’t get any sleep. The heater made a terrible sound all night. The only thing that was good was the beds are comfy,

Online pictures are misleading!

Reviewed 16 february, 2020

Booked through priceline express deals, which is normally really awesome and has placed us in some good locations at great prices. The pictures online make it look better than local competitor hotels! This establishment is dated, loud, not the cleanest and next to loud, busy roadway. You must go outside a short distance to access pool area from all rooms, so the hallways are damp and you get cold making the trek to and from the room and pool. Multiple people yelling about needing wet floor signs in the hallways. The room: bedside lamps didn't work, the room smelled strongly of cigarettes and was very small. Black mold present in the windows, blood splatters on the ceiling and very humid. Doors slamming 24/7, people talking loudly, vacuums seemingly running constantly although the place is NOT clean. I suppose the right room might be ok for a short family stay but definitely a terrible place for couples or anyone seeking any kind of peace and quiet. Actually, we would not even take our children here. I showed the blood splatter picture to the front desk; they thanked me for making them aware and that was it. One of the worst hotel/motel experiences we have had.

nice hotel

nice hotel, with a good pool. Seemed like a lot going on in the parking lot like maybe some less than savory things but you didn't notice once you got into the hotels. Rooms were average size and the kids loved the pool and the slides. Over all a good experience.

Worth it if you can get it at a bargain

I stayed here recently in early February and considering I got it a below $65CAD/night I like this hotel. The pool was loads of fun for my daughter and the complementary breakfast was very good. The rooms are clean and the showers had more than of enough pressure. The front desk staff was very helpful and polite. A bit of advice though when you do choose a room for this hotel try to get a room on the Walmart side. The rooms on the other side are next to a major intersection and it can get quite noisy.

Overnight work travel stay

Overnight stay traveling to work. Late check in, desk was friendly & helpful. Standard room, clean & well suited. Breakfast was better than most. Was not the easiest to get to, Uber missed it. Great customer service.
