Disgusting room and staff. Notify the health department.

We opened the room and immediately saw an empty bottle and used condom on the floor. Turned right around and went back to the desk. I asked for another room. I was told that they were fully booked and everyone had already checked in. We got lysol from CVS and cleaned the room best we could ourselves. Pretty sure we are still in pandemic situation and that the health department would have something to say about bodily fluids left in the room. Did I mention disgusting? Also - this room had a full kitchen. But not stocked with anything. No glasses, silverware, etc. Place is absolutely disgusting. Even the doors were dirty. Wash cloth we used was black when we were done.

Billed Incorrectly

I stayed at the Quality Inn in December for about 6 days. The room was fine. I got the printout of my bill when I checked out and it was okay. When I got home to Oregon, I found on my credit card a seperate bill for a different room and a night that I wasn't even in Iowa. I was in Oregon. I called the Manager and tried to get her to straighten it out. I must have called her 3-4 times with no results. I finally called my credit card companyt and they were able to resolve it after I filed a dispute. I had stayed a this facility several times when it was the Cottonwood Inn and no problems. I never received an apology or anything from the hotel. I will not stay there again The manager should have been able to resolve the issue

Not a great experience

We stay at Choice 40-50 times per year. This hotel had a strange odor in hall by elevator (like urine). Room need deep clean- corners of bath floor were filthy. Sunday morn breakfast was not good. No biscuits, gravy, and no sugar free syrup for waffles. Helper in dining area said she had asked the owner for sugar free syrup and he refused to respond. Not an unreasonable request in my opinion, so I'll stay at the close-by Comfort Suites next trip.

Two night stay

We were traveling in our RV for the last month and I was feeling ill, so we decided to stay here near my brother in law. The room was a good size and the beds were comfortable. There was no room to park our RV in their lot so were told we had to park it across the street in a semi closed mall. We were worried about security there but parked without issues. Nice breakfast in morning.

Didn’t feel welcome, the man at the desk was rude to my children told us we had multiple complaints and we would have to leave if he would have to call his manager...when I booked the room o had asked if we could have a birthday party here... and answered yes was rude to all of my guests don’t Recommend this place if u plan on having a party!!
