This place is a disgrace. When I opened the door to the room, I found the tv on, crumbs on the bed, and pee and toilet paper in the un flushed toilet. The remote control wasn’t working, the ice machine was broken, there was no coffee making facilities, and the coup de gras was the cockroach that crawled out of the crack in the shower.

We stayed here on our return trip north because of it's proximity to I-95 and cost but we'll never stay here again. Front desk staff was nice, that where the nice stops. Our room was terrible, fridge didn't work, AC/Heat unit was barely functioning and when it tried to activate it was louder than a smoothy blender, ugh! The room was torn up, chipped walls, door lock broken, and bathroom was gross. If we hadn't arrived at 11PM and had't been exhausted I would have requested another room, as it was we had already carried all our luggage in, and it was drizzling. It was so bad we all decided to sleep in our clothes and just bail in the morning. We'll never stay here again.

this econo lodge is a perfect hotel for me . I'm traveling from 95 north . and alone in my 78.. my car start to having a problem. traffic was in constuction . I decide to make the exit off at roanoak and rapids , found the Econolodge. step in book 4 one night. its very nice cleanliness , neat with the brand new Niagara bath tub and comfort station.I'm relax and see nothing to be aware off. I'm recommend strongly to use this hotel. from vina chang of MD

Decent Overnight Place at Fair Price

Saw Econolodge sign on I-95 when it was time to stop for the night. Helpful clerk and staff guy showed me where to park trailer. Wifi in room 203 was spotty w/ drop-outs. Clean bath and good king bed. Free breakfast just OK but probably better than next-door Wafflehouse! Sunday price was $61 tax included. You could do worse.

I have stayed in 2 econo lodges 1 here and 1 in PA and I have never seen dirtier A/C filters in my life I had to wash them myself in the shower with hot water. I do have the pictures of last night. I will pay them frist. If I can’t find the one from PA
