Why so dark?

Turn on your lights! Your property is so dark at night! Your entrance (sign) off of Okeechobee is not even lit it was difficult to distinguish if it was the entrance or the service area. It’s hard to read and navigate when your not familiar with anything on your property. Your parking lot isn’t even lit at night. A few times I’ve noticed people hanging on your property. Who didn’t seem to belong there. Could’ve been your employees, but with no lights it was hard to tell.

I first checked in to the WPB Marriott on June 18, 2022. My dad was in the hospital nearby and this was an urgent, sudden trip. I had trouble with my rental car, my flight out was cancelled and throughout my stay, the staff, particularly the manager Shawn, went above and beyond to accommodate me. He was kind and helpful, made sure I and my daughters who flew in one at a time were all treated well. After my initial 5 day stay I had to return for another week and was treated with the same kindness. Numerous front desk staff were great, the gentleman that runs the shuttle to the airport went out of his way to make an extra run for me. Everyone showed concern for my dad. The rooms were clean, the bed extra comfy. The Bistro had a nice variety of food and wasn't terribly expensive. The location was perfect for me to take an uber to the hospital or walk to get to Rosemary Square. I would return to this welcoming hotel any time. At a very stressful time, they made me feel welcome and safe.

This hotel was extremely nice. The beds were great. The amenities were great. The staff was friendly and professional. Even at 1:00 am when we checked in, due to our flight being delayed. The rooms were clean. We will stay at this hotel again.
Old hotel. Needs major renovation and staff upgrade

This hotel needs a major renovation and upgrade of its staff. Surprised it is allowed to use the Marriott banner. As a Marriott Ambassador member, I was very surprised of the low quality here. Examples of problems: Terrible service in restaurant - quality of service needs a major upgrade Gym TV not working and exercise machines are not linked to TVs - I guess they don’t want to pay for cable? No hot water in the hotel - not good if you have kids and need to make them milk Card system is bad - gets demagnetized very easily and more than any other hotel Phone line for guest services does not work - good luck getting through. You can be on hold for over 30 minutes Rooms are old - full renovation is needed (ironically the music when you try to call guest services refers to rooms are being newly renovated…time to change that…) Business lounge is not 24 hours and closes early Not surprisingly, they didn’t send a customer feedback after the stay so that our ratings do not appear in the actual Marriott BonVoy App. Some of the staff are actually excellent. In particular, Shawn O’Neil from the front desk is excellent and could be fit for a Ritz Carlton. However, cannot say the same for the rest of the staff. To the management of the Marriott West PalmBeach - you really need to make these changes. Time for the Marriott management to do a spot check visit here.
Comfortable, family friendly

I stayed here few nights when visiting the area. The property was packed with families during our stay so I figured it was family friendly. Good use a bit of renovations. Staff was friendly. Not too far from the mall and close to the freeway.
