Pros - hotel staff is very welcoming and friendly. Free shuttle to HPN airport.. Cons - room was dated, furniture had stuffing coming out, coffee maker didn’t work. Overall - okay but not likely to come back. Location is next to a huge mall and there is a Cheesecake Factory down the block, but not much of a neighborhood.

This hotel was an enormous disappointment. I came back to the hotel tonight after a tiring day of meetings. My bed was not made. The towels not replaced. When I called the front desk they informed me that unless I specifically ask for housekeeping services they do. It go into the rooms. It might have been nice for someone to have told me that when we checked in. I was told someone would right up to correct this. It’s been over half and hour and I am still waiting. Absolutely NOT coming back here!

Frustrating hotel with poor maintenance, not worth the trouble.

Want a frustrating hotel experience? This place will be your jam. To start, I’ve probably stayed at this hotel 150 times over 21 years. When it changed to a “Sonesta”, they made many cost-saving changes and the maintenance went downhill fast. First, they have installed “water saving” faucets on the showers and the sinks. Which I fully support, however, now you have to run the water in the shower or sink for 20 mins to get it hot enough to take a shower?!?! How much water are they really saving?? (None) Next, they installed “wifi switches”. Unfortunately half of them in the room weren’t working so the lights wouldn’t come on? When I turned on the A/C I could see dust/lint/?? coming out of the wall unit. I removed the filter from the unit, and it was of course, absolutely disgusting. (See pic) The refrigerator was apparently leaking and the water/condensate runs out onto the floor. How do I know this? Because I walked to the bathroom in my socks and sloshed through the water on the floor. Yay! Wet feet for me!! Next, they have determined that 66 degrees is the lowest the temp should be in the room. That would be fine, but the temp in the room was 72, when the thermostat was indicating 66. Pieces of the elevator are falling off (pic with finger pointing), seriously, I hope the elevator is maintained better than the rest of the hotel ? Lastly, the parking is all jacked up. They charge you to park, but then the room key doesn’t work to let you out of the garage. You have to hit a call button and hope someone picks up. The windup is that the mgmt has made changes to save money, at the expense of the guests comfort. The maintenance has gone down hill, and frankly this hotel is no longer worth what they are charging.

Great customer service here .Once at room hotel staff set up a text thread for any extra needs you may have ….really nice touch . This was very helpful with our extra request of wine glasses for the room . Check in was very efficient , quick and informative . Room was perfect and everything in working order . Def stay here again .

Silly extra charges

I travel for work and it is silly and frustrating when the hotel invents silly charges like a 10 a day resort fee nonsense. Why should I nice-ish hotel feel the need to price gouge guests as so. Even more upsetting is that it is 7am on my day of departure and they have already disabled my Wi-Fi
