Recreation

Super nice relaxing time, staff extremely friendly, we even saw wild horses. It was snowing and fog blocked the view of the Grand Canyon but still we had nice time. Long wait for sitting at the restaurant.

Caught Covid on the Polar Express

Reviewed 18 january, 2022

Unfortunately we caught Covid on this trip. My son had a lot of fun on the Polar Express. The train traveled North for about 45 minutes, and then went back to the station. All of the entertainment on the trip is provided by the passengers.

Grand canyon railway tour

Reviewed 13 january, 2022

The trip was excellent. We decided at the last minute to do this and it was easy to book and participate in. We took part in the pre " shoot out" and I would recommend everyone do that. the train was lovely, staff excellent scenery beyond compare. It was nice they had not "over stuffed" the rail cars. We could spread out and be safely distance from everyone,

not worth the money

Reviewed 13 january, 2022

very rude staff at check in. no room service because of COVID. closed bar because of no staff. pool was cloudy and the hot tub was disgusting. overall, not worth the cost. However, very good location and close to everything in this town.

Lodging and railway package

Reviewed 13 january, 2022

The hotel is convenient for boarding the train to the Grand Canyon. The hotel is clean and comfortable but the dining experience is mediocre at best. I would stay at this hotel but not with a package deal that includes dining. Williams has many restaurants that are far better. The railway experience is fine for families that include small children. I would not recommend the train for couples and you really need a car at the Canyon.
