Don't bother to book CHASE IHG Anniversary night

Have stayed at this property several times in the past using IHG points. Tried to book the anniversary night and this hotel refuses to book any type of specific room ( king or standard double) when plenty are clearly available online. They did offer a handicap room but still wouldn't confirm bed type. I'm traveling with kids so I can't take a chance on what they may or may not provide. This is the third time I have run into this issue and blame both IHG and the hotel management. With plenty of rooms available and no blackout dates per the terms this is unacceptable to me so I will be cancelling my IHG cards and staying in non - IHG properties moving forward.

First, after a 4 hour ride. Upon entering KerryAnn was a breath of fresh air. Making my husband and I reassured that we would be ok. Our previous reservation for our anniversary was with another establishment. However, upon arriving we were unable to stay because of the hazardous conditions. KerryAnn kindly filled us in on the accommodations, as they met our needs. Once checked in. We were very much satisfied indeed! We were very very pleased with everything and our stay was a successful one! From the cleanliness, safety concerns posted, friendliness of the staff. I can go on. We chose well! Please make Holiday Inn your first choice. I know I may sound like a commercial but it's the truth about our experience. Not to mention there were 2 other guests that we spoke with who checked in from another est. as well and they were just as satisfied! We spoke personally with them. I also had the pleasure of speaking with the GM David S. As we talked I truly felt his generosity was sincere. I felt compelled to make the time to leave this rating. We appreciated you KerryAnn!


Nice Hotel...but the internet

The hotel is nice. It is relatively clean though I did find a nickel and some sort of battery by the side of the bed. The internet is horrible... it is the worst I have ever experienced and unusable. The internet never connected while we were there and the television worked intermittently minute to minute. If you need work from the hotel, this is not the one.

We come to Williamsburg many times during the year and we hadn't decided a favorite hotel. Now we have. This girl is the best to stay off your want a very personable staff and great food at Bistro 515. Chef Randy, Amber and Samantha are the core of the restaurant and are there in the morning and evening. The restaurant is closed during the day because all the guests are usually at the local attractions. My wife loves the morning fare and I love the mean LIIT that Amber creates. And I do mean mean. Samantha is always the consummate hostess that had a smile that always brighten your day or night. Please give them a try and stay a night or two and definitely eat at the Bistro 515. Thanks you Randy, Amber and Samantha for a wonderful stay. See you guys soon.


Wonderful customer service

The staff at this hotel is very friendly and provide excellent customer service. KerryAnne at the front desk was very friendly when checking us in at 10:30pm, near the end of her shift. There is another lady who took over for KerryAnne but I was not able to get her name. The staff at the Bistro for breakfast (Jubabe, Dejanay, and the executive chef Randy) went out their way to accommodate us (a family of 5, with a 4 month old baby). Much appreciation to you all! Thanks again.
