Beautiful place to stay. Friendly staff, clean units, Awesome pool, hot tub & fire pit. Perfect location so close to all places to see Williamsburg History, Busche Gardens, Water Park & an hour to Virginia Beach. Nice area to take Family or for couples.

Location is great, resort is clean, staff is nice, but there was nothing that would make me want to stay again. Our room was very outdated (looked liked at least 25 years since refurbished); one of the pocket doors in bathroom was off-track making it difficult to shut and the washer/dryer combo was dented and slanted so it shook when used.
Colonial Williamsburg Resort

Perfect location for visiting the Historic Triangle of colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown.
Although many sites and restaurants were closed or still under Covid restrictions, we enjoyed our vacation at this resort. The units were spacious and clean, and the grounds were beautifully kept.
Do Not Waste Your Money

The first thing, upon arrival. After driving 3 hours, we just wanted to unpack and get oriented. The check in wanted us to book a 90 minutes sales session. I am a Global Discovery Vacation owner, with 4 weeks so I was not interested but I was pressured to sign up. My wife finally said NO!!!
We were told our unit wasn't ready. We had requested ground floor. They had one ready with 5 steps, so we accepted that one. As I drove to our unit, I noticed ALL of them had walk up stairs.
The unit smelled like cat urine. Luckily, I always bring candles, air freshener and Lysol!
The Wi-Fi, disconnects after each use, so you must sign in each time you want to use it.
The unit had cobwebs on the ceiling, the shower heads were encrusted with
lime and calcium deposits. I spilled some water on the kitchen floor and wiped it up with a paper towel and it was filthy. When we checked in, we were told how "clean" everything would be due to covid.
The toilet ran after every flush. The bed was so hard, my back hurt and I did not get a good night sleep.
The discount restaurants, they recommended, had such bad reviews, we never used them, ie, "Sal's".
We were told no pets but saw many guests with dogs and because Williamsburg is so dog friendly I was disappointed because I had wanted to bring my poodle.
The carpet looks 20 years old.
I would not recommend this place at all!!!
Toilet water dripping on us from the unit upstairs and our AC broke twice, all in 6 days!

This place was an utter mess and ruined our Williamsburg vacation. We stayed for 6 nights at the end of July and on 3 of those nights, something in our unit broke/didn't work. The first issue we had was when toilet water from the unit upstairs was leaking through the vent in the ceiling and dripping into our bathroom. We discovered this problem 10pm after being at Water Country all day and my pregnant wife couldn't use the bathroom without getting dripped on. We packed up the whole unit two days after getting there and were moved to a different unit a few buildings down. We were assured that everything would work in this unit; it didn't. The next day, we got back from Busch Gardens and 93 degree heat to find out that our air conditioner didn't work. It took three calls to the font desk to get someone to come help us. Later we found out that they had repeatedly sent the maintenance guys to the wrong unit even though I told them our unit number when I called. We got our AC on after 11pm but had to stay at the building all day the next day because we were so tired. One day later, our AC broke again and we had to call the office several times to get it fixed. The worst part about it is that I contacted the manager 4 (four) times about getting a refund for one of our nights. He repeatedly asks me for our credit card number and says he's working on it but almost a month later we still don't have the money. This place is a joke from top to bottom. The most helpful people there are the maintenance guys who I knew on a first name basis by the end of the week. Saladin Hall, you still owe me $131.05. I've given you my card number 4 times so I know you have it.
