I stayed at Hyatt Place on 11-14-2021 for one night to attend a wedding. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The heating system was very noisy. Each time it came on it woke me up, so I did not get a good night’s sleep. The water pressure in the shower was awful. It took a while to rinse. Check-out time was 12 noon, but our room keys had already been decoded by 9am. When my husband returned from getting breakfast around 7:45 am, I had to get out of the shower to let him in. 🤪

Hotel was clean and staff were helpful and friendly. Great location for bar hopping and walking along the riverfront. The Big Fish Grill was steps away from the front door of the Hyatt and it's one of the best spots for lunch / dinner in the area. We will be back for sure !!!

This is the only place to stay when coming to Wilmington! The staff here have set the bar when it comes to customer service! We love starting our morning in Miss Launa’s “kitchen” as she refers to it!

My husband stayed at the Hyatt Place Wilmington Riverfront during our wedding weekend. The staff was so warm and welcoming! They were also hilarious, which made the atmosphere very inviting! The hotel rooms were very clean! Ms. Lorna, who was the bartender during our stay, was VERY NURTURING! She’s an amazing person, and commands a certain level of respect, which shows her tenure, and her ability to deliver excellent service. Although we live about 15 minutes away from the hotel, we will DEFINITELY be returning in the near future. It’s a family atmosphere, which is something you don’t get from other hotels!

This was my third return visit to this hotel. After spending more than 25 days, in total at this location, you get to know what works and what doesn’t. I think this hotel is great. They are slowly and cautiously returning to norms having kept in place some COVID protocols. However, the facility and rooms are immaculate. The staff are resourceful and accommodating. In fact, high praise to Gerard who is just on it for any hotel need. And Lorna who accommodates you in the mornings with breakfast. I very much appreciated their dedication to assist in my stay. But I do have to commend Justin Hall, the manager, who leads a terrific team. He goes above and beyond to make sure each hotel guest has the most pleasurable stay. The location of this hotel is the best with restaurants nearby and a riverwalk for exercise. Starbucks is up the street. Big Fish restaurant and Taco Grande are the best! Ample free parking and a great location overall to get around. I know I will stay there again!
