We came into Wilmington after eleven hours of driving. It was Easter weekend, and every hotel from fifty miles outside of town was either booked or not what we were looking for. At 11:30 pm, I called the front desk of this hotel because the website said they had a suite available with two queen beds and a pull-out sofa. The gentleman who answered the phone was very kind, and he verified that they did have the room available and that it was the only one left. We were there within fifteen minutes, and despite the price gouging on a holiday weekend, we were too exhausted to keep searching. When we got into the room, there was a king bed and a pull-out sofa, which was not what we were promised. Someone would have had to sleep on the uncarpeted floor with no blankets and no pillow after being in the car for 11 hours! My husband went downstairs to see what could be done to secure another bed, and the friendly gentleman at the front desk comped us a queen room because of the misunderstanding. (Apparently they had other rooms available after all!) We were surprised and relieved at his generosity, and we accepted the room. The next morning when we checked out, the hotel (owner? manager?) told us that we had a problem because his employee was new, and he made a mistake, and he wanted to know what we were going to do to make it right. Apparently, it was our responsibility to pay for the comped room, which would have made our bill for one night almost $450. He then claimed that either he could fire his employee for the mistake, or we could do the right thing and pay 50% of the cost of the room. This was not the original agreement, and we refused to do it. Since when is it the customer's responsibility to pay for a poorly trained employee's honest mistake? A good manager would have eaten the cost and trained the employee better. The man behind the desk became infuriated with us, raising his voice and calling us dishonest and thieves so that everyone in the lobby could hear him. We were terribly embarrassed. He told us to never set foot on his property again. That won't be a problem. He couldn't pay me enough money to stay in this hotel again.
A very good hotel

The hotel is new or seemingly so, a good thing. It is hard to talk about a hotel during the covid as not everything is open, e.g. breakfast and the pool. However they tried hard, had coffee in the morning and that is what is most important. A very clean, convenient hotel, I would stay here again if I was in the area. A good quality value hotel.

We stayed in this hotel one night, not easy to locate. We enjoyed a good night sleep here. The staff we encountered here were pleasant. The breakfast was was not great. The room was adequate and clean.

We went to visit my Family during the Christmas Holidays and stayed at this Hotel. And even with limited staff, they made sure we had everything we needed!! Very clean room and really nice people!! Will stay here again!

Room was clean but the bed was not comfortable at all and had a scrunchy sound with any movement. BUT the big problem is that there is no sound barrier between our room and the room next door. My grandson and I are unwilling participants to every conversation that my next door neighbors is having and every tv show they are watching. I am in the lobby of the hotel right now writing this review at 5 AM because my neighbors turned on their TV at 4 AM. They were not even overly loud, just normal conversation and tv volume. The staff is pleasant. I know that because I am hanging in the lobby since I can't sleep in my room because of the noise. This hotel is not worth any price!
