A real gem

We stayed here as we toured Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good as free breakfasts go. Hotel appears to be recently constructed, room was in excellent shape, beds were comfy, linens clean and also excellent condition. Location was great for our needs as we left out to the west on scenic roads. This was one of the best stays during our multi-week trip. Laundry machines were available, but coin shortage made doing laundry problematic. A shopping center is next door and many dining options are nearby. Pool priviledges are at the hotel next door, not here. Exercise room was well equiped and fully functional. As a mid-level hotel this is a good value.
Pros and cons

Pros: new, modern, clean. Nice comforters and towels, brightly lit hall, friendly check-in.. Cons: Over-priced at $180 per night. Micro means small room, small closet, small bathroom, small shower, very small breakfast, very dark room. My laptop did not let me connect to their internet—insecure—so no email. First time that has ever happened to me with my Windows 10 laptop. Morning manager, Robert, was grouchy, dressed in t-shirt and sweat pants. His breakfast offering was no milk so no cereal, just moldy bagels and stale English muffins, along with weak coffee and o.j. No apology from Robert. For $180 per night!

The only downside to our stay was the toilet paper. It was thin and scratchy. Literally everything else about this place was a 10/10. There is a dollar tree a few feet up the hill so get yourself a roll of charmin and the stay will be perfect. We didn’t even need to bring our own pillows - they were phenomenal. The location is perfect, right at the top of Woodland Park.

We stayed three nights and enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, breakfast was nice, hotel is pet friendly for $20 a night. Beds were comfortable, pillows too. We would definitely stay again. Its close to main attractions!
Great, clean, family-friendly hotel

We as a family have zero complaints. The hotel was very clean, smelt great, staff was super friendly and helpful! Beds were very comfortable and clean. Our children throughly enjoyed breakfast, although this would be my only "complaint" that my husband and I wish there were a tad bit more of a variety of breakfast items. Specifically towards allergen friendly things.
