My husband had medical appointments so we booked at last minute. Night before to be precise. Staff on phone and in person were very courteous. Prices from. Online did change. About 30 more bucks than expected. But we wanted on first floor so we were ok and understanding. The snack and soda machines in lobby didn't work. But staff in a.m. very accommodating. The location is right off interstate and multiple resturaunts/ Door dash etc. Options available. We choose a small place called happy panda. Really good food, delivered in lobby of hotel. The only bad thing was homeless outside of hotel. Most are freindly and want cigarettes . There was one though that frieghntened me. He screamed at me that I was working for the man and all cops are racist.why all the lights flashing. I guess he was referring to the traffic lights changing and possibly on drugs. It was scary. I didn't go out to my car the rest of the night. Hotel is well laid out for families and groups. Location is really good. Need some security and lighting inside and out.
Pubic hair on the bed sheets / In the bedding, pubic hair in the tub, dirt / food on the carpet.*See Pictures!

The day of check-in on 10/3/21. Room #208 **See Pictures!!! This review will also be posted on all other travel related sites... Everyone looking for a hotel should be advised. Pubic hair all over the bed sheets, pubic hair in the tub, dirt / food on the stained carpet, tub not draining. Took a shower, the water would not drain from the tub, called front desk. Walked barefoot to my suitcase on the brown stained carpet and stepped on dirt and debris / pieces of crackers? Not quite sure what it was. Worked my way to the bed, pulled down the bed-cover to get in only to find it littered with someone’s pubic hair! I immediately called front desk again and requested the manager. This time Cooper, who answered the phone told me that he had another room to move to... #201 (The Microtel was more than 1/2 empty during my entire stay) No one offered help moving my luggage, no luggage cart provided to assist, even after I informed Cooper that I had a few broken ribs at the time. It was after midnight before I finished moving and getting ready for bed again. Was told by Cooper after he gave me a card-key for #201 that I would be credited for the first night only. Was also told room #201 had 2 beds instead of 1, which I did not ask for... I would have appreciated a cart, or some help much more than an extra bed that I did not need! It was just me staying at the hotel. I had a reservation for 10/3 - 10/16... which is a long stay. I cleaned my own room during my entire stay, kept it spotless, sanitized all of the surfaces on a daily basis...and still left tips for Housekeeping *Ask / confirm this with housekeeping employee Madison! Also can confirm all complaints with Manager Phyllis. During my stay I / everyone had to deal with Michael, the Night-time Manager extremely bad attitude. This guy seems to hate the world. I mentioned this to another front desk employee Sandra, was then told this was an ongoing issue since she started working there. Michael’s attitude problems were also confirmed by other hotel guests, and employees during my stay. After seeing my Invoice a few days later on 10/19/21, I called Priceline to inquire as to why I did not see a credit for the first night. The Priceline rep put me on hold and called the Microtel Inn, and spoke with Michael. Was told he refused to issue a credit, he told the Priceline rep that they "Upgraded my room" so they will not be issuing a credit. I then called the Microtel directly and spoke to Michael who answered the phone... I ask him why, Michael’s reply was, “I'll approve the credit, just never come back!” Wow! Travelers Beware!

I woke up to get family a breakfast down stairs in the morning at 7-8am and there was no breakfast like the website stated. I was no very happy with the check out representative lady at all. She was rude and unprofessional.

The staff at the front desk was very nice and respectful. The room was great and the amenities are as well! Visited this location multiple times and will continue to do so. Hidden gem in Woodstock and convenient to everything needed while in the area.
Okay for 1 night

It was okay for 1 night. I would probably stay again if its only for a night, the area was good lots of restaurants close by. Housekeepers need to do better with their cleaning but it wasn't that bad I wouldn't stay for longer than a night.
