I have stayed there several times before but this time i called last minute to book a room for two nights. Well I had to cancel it for emergency reasons and the manager said that there was a 24 hour cancellation policy and he couldnt do it. mind you that i booked less than 24 hours. Then he completely lied to my face on the phone and said that i booked my room threw booking.com and said that i would have to pay the entire two days. this is very poor business and I dont suspect that Ill get a refund but i will NEVER EVER GO TO THAT HOTEL AGAIN....THEY SUCK

Our stay at the Dunes Motor Inn was very enjoyable. It was clean and quiet, perfect place for a family. And it was just small enough. Another great aspect was that you could actually walk to the beach if you’d like! Great feature. Pool was up and running always filled with nice families.
Me and wifey time

We stayed here great price great service. Sometimes people just expect to much don’t let the reviews fool you. Place is not your 5 star Hilton in but it’s clean it’s cozy and staff is very friendly 5 minute walk from beautiful beach and tons of restaurants. Jack thank you for having me and my wife will be back again.
DON"T GO HERE!!!!!!

Our flight was canceled due to storms and we could not get out for two days. Our reservation was only for 3 nights so we would only be there 10 hours. I called and asked for a refund due to something out of our control and I was denied. I spoke to "Jack" and he said that was their refund policy. I told him that the airlines had canceled all flights up and down the east coast until Sunday and we were supposed to come in on Friday night. He was so rude and not understanding.
First of all

I don’t understand why cranky people decide to get into the hospitality industry. I’m not saying you have to throw a parade when a guest arrives, but HELLO might be nice instead of a GRUNT and a SIGH, lol! Just saying. Secondly, when I count SEVEN rando hairs IN the beds & on the bathroom floor, I come to believe no one has cleaned/changed the sheets. Walls were also filthy. Just a swipe with a cloth would clean them off and make the room look less gross. Thirdly: the windows don’t lock so we were never fully comfortable leaving our belongings when we left for the day. I’m not taking point off for dated decor or the lack of a breakfast item that wasn’t made from flour. The air conditioner worked, the bed was comfortable. I’m cranky that I paid 150$ USD for crappy service and a significantly dirty room. Recommendation: look elsewhere.
