My wife and I spend out anniversary weekend here and it was amazing. Before arriving I texted with the front desk about having champagne placed in the room for our arrival. Quick responses back from guest services and they assured me they would have the bottle ready and attach a card . We arrived around 8pm and upon opening the door, there was the bottle of champagne on ice, a card congratulating our anniversary and a box of chocolates from a local shop. My wife was very emotional and happy upon seeing this. We reserved an oceanfront room and it was on the second floor. My wife loves the ocean and when she opened up the curtains and the door to the outside, she did not want to ever go home. It is a gorgeous view of the ocean and hearing the waves cashing in was soo relaxing. There were a couple of tables and chairs out on the private balcony. There are dividing walls between units on the balconies for privacy. The first floor ocean front rooms have a patios that you can walk right onto the beach from. We decided to go with the little more privacy of the second floor. The room had a King bed, a mini refrigerator and a table with chairs for eating at. The bathroom had separate sink room, and shower/commode room. The decor was a little dated but had pictures of lighthouses and other beach themes. We were there for the views and they were amazing. The bed was very comfortable and it was great to sleep with the door open and hear the waves all night long. The resort itself was pretty quiet, may have been since off season. The private beach is great for taking a stroll or lounging out and enjoying the weather. There are a couple of restaurants on site. One for breakfast (which could be take out) and another bar with drinks and food. There is an indoor and outdoor pool and I believe you can use the amenities at all red jacket resorts in the area, We had an amazing weekend at Riviera Beach resort and the staff was amazing and accommodated anything we needed. They made our weekend a very special one that we will always remember.
Do not belive the naysayers!!!

Spent 3 days there in September. Great place. Clean - Great Beach - Nice people. Hotel is right on the Nantucket Sound. Water was perfect. Great walking beach. Conveient to town and Skippy's Chowder House which I reccomend.

Stayed here for 4 nights with a group of 45 guests. The staff here was very welcoming and most helpful and kind. My room was very comfortable and spacious. The bedding was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was offered each morning to all of our guests. Very nice beach front property that I would highly recommend for a complete Cape Cod experience.
Great Stay at the Cape

This is a wonderful resort providing access to ocean andctwo pools. Great for couples and families. Variety of room options. Staff is friendly. It is on a quiet road, but yet close enough to Route 28. It was our first time visiting the Cape in September. Crowds are gone and you can get a table at any restaurant. I would recommend the Riviera to anyone.
Over price and below par

I have stayed at this resort 3 times this summer. The hotel has been going down hill more and more all summer. Most recent stay they ran out of towels at the pool, and beach for 2 days and the front desk had none. House keeping is horrible, knocking on doors every morning at 9am even if you have the DND sign on the door. People outside drinking and blasting music until midnight with no noise enforcement. My prior stay we booked a room with 2 beds and at check in the had only a room with 1 king, they offered a roll away bed for a fee and had to fight to get it for free. Wifi was down yet they charge a $25 resort fee still. Our car got hit in the parking lot (parked) and despite calling the police and doing a police report management refused to assist with it. This is one of the more expensive hotel in season, I would expect a lot higher level of service.
