College Visit to York

Great experience! They accommodated our allergies with a renovated room! The reason for our visit was a York College open house.Drove in from Buffalo, New York late Friday night and stayed briefly before leaving for the Open House at 715 am. Unfortunately, due to COVID still NO HOT breakfast. Just a simple Grab and Go bag!

The place is extremely dirty for a Radisson * Elevator full of prints, food on the floor of the elevator * Carpet in need of vacuuming...food crumbs and other particles on the floor * Room - Full of stains and dirt ( I'm not sure when the carpets were cleaned....it looked like it's been a long time) * Pubic hair in the tub with the prior person towel on the back of the bathroom door. * Coffee pot in room didn't work * Found a roach in the bathroom when getting ready to shower. * Shower curtain has mold stains on it. Needless to say, I feel that these are very good reasons not to go again. I also believe I received a few flea bites on my leg but I never saw the fleas to prove that one. Make reservations at your own risk!

Had high hopes for this hotel since we stay in Country Inn & Suites frequently. Not the place to stay. No locks on our first room, came here to work, no wifi in the second. Staff tried to help out, but beds have huge stains, sheets do also-had to go get our own. Fridge froze all my food and laid my shorts on a shelf and they got stained up from trash left and shoved to the back. Tried to find another hotel and there was no availability anywhere due to the York County Fair. Such a bad experience and still after being home, still dealing with a double charge and issues.

Dirty, Smelled of Smoke, Seedy

After what I thought was careful research, I booked this hotel for a sports tournament weekend and recommended that the rest of the team book here, as well. I was absolutely disgusted when we arrived. When we arrived late on Friday night the front desk clerk had her friends hanging out in the lobby keeping her company. There was a bowl of literally ROTTEN oranges sitting on a counter in the lobby. The room was filthy. The bathroom wreaked of cigarette smoke. There were bits of paper and trash all around the room. Had it even been vacuumed? There was a substance that looked and smelled like old vomit on the chair in the room. We had a view of 30 bags of garbage outside of our room. If I opened the window, that pungent odor wafted in quickly. This place was worse than a $19.99 / night flophouse that might be rented out by the hour. No one that works in this place takes any pride in their work. Literally, stay ANYWHERE else in the area -- it has to be better.

This is my go-to hotel whenever ai travel to York. This last stay was far less than I am use to. Checked into a room that was not clean, stain on carpets, no lamps, no pictures, no ice bucket and courtesy cups, no phone and a dirty microwave. Staff apologized and quickly switched me to another room but double billed me..ugh. the new room was definitely better than the first but still much less than I expected. The carpets were stained as well, dust build-up on walls, the phones didn't work and AC did not keep entire area cool. Housekeeping doesnt serve the rooms during your stay as precaution for COVID, but it looks like they cutting some serious corners when cleaning for checkouts. Good thing I travel with Lysol cleaner and disinfectant wipes. I was highly disappointed with the room.
