Six of us stayed there overnight, my room was clean and was remarkable quiet even though I was right next to the elevator. The only negative was I had all the makings for coffee provided but no coffee pot. It did not matter since the lobby was only a few steps away. Good place to stay if visiting the Mahoning Valley Hollywood; however there is no shuttle to and from the casino but it is a very short drive.

In Ohio there is a mask mandate, and this hotel supposedly has one as well. But this morning at breakfast, which was served as normal, there were many people without masks, and in clear view of the person at the front desk. Breathing maskless on the bagels, juices and waffles... in addition, the cleaning staff was roaming the halls maskless... Stay way if you want to be safe.

We stayed here overnight while on a short casino trip. Room was clean and had no complaints considering the changes due to the covid flu. I slept well and it was quiet. The only negative was the lid for the coffee pot was missing and it made it difficult to make coffee.

Stay at this hotel after visiting the Casino Hollywood. Only 1 mile away from the Casino. Check in was noon and very fast, friendly staff. Mid size room great shower, large and great spray head. Lighted Large sink. Excellent quiet room, great bedding, and comfort. Large TV Screen many stations, micro wave and very cold refrig.. Breakfast was limited but had many choices. Room was $62.00 plus taxes. Great deal

I stayed here Feb 7th-9th. I arrived late on Feb 7th and was assigned a non-smoking room on the first floor (room 105) upon entering I walked out of the room and politely requested a different room because the smell of marijuana was really extreme. I was than assigned another room (113) this room was a lot better so I decided to stay there. Late that night the nasty smell of marijuana woke me up and the smell was so bad I had to leave the room. At this point I was extremely frustrated. Around 3:00am I took a little drive trying to get all the junk smell out of my system. Upon returning I spoke with the gentleman at the front desk and he told me the smell is something the hotel can’t do anything about. After speaking to the front desk I walked back to the room not feeling well, sick to my stomach and very angry. I knew 100% it was the people next door smoking. I smelt it through the vents. I understand hotels can’t stop people from smoking weed but this was bad. BAD! I’m never the type to complain but again I was not happy. Would you be happy? I lm sure you wouldn’t. Upon checking out on Sunday I asked to speak to the General Manager but was told she won’t be in till Monday. I was given her office number. Once I checked out I got in my car (which smelled like weed from being in my car the previous night with the clothes I had on) and made a phone call to the General Manager. I left a voice mail stating my concerns, my full name, date I stayed, and my confirmation number but received NO CALL BACK FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER AT THIS HOTEL. NONE. Again, I’m not the type to complain. Honest. But the entire floor and especially the room I was in reeked of marijuana. I’m a choice rewards member and stay at Choice Hotels monthly for work and having this GM not call me back just to even apologize is beyond low class. I feel bad for the hard working employees here that have to work under her. If she handles situations like mine and manages a hotel and employees the same way she is doing a horrible job. I know her name but I won’t put it on here because I have class and wouldn’t want her to get in trouble. Sleep Inn Austintown General Manager- Shame on you for not calling me back. With all the money I spend staying at Choice Hotels for business and supplying you with a paycheck this is NOT the customer service I deserve. In the lobby near the front desk there’s a sign and it pretty much states if you’re not completely satisfied to let them know and they will make it right- well, I wasn’t and YOU DID. NOT. MAKE. IT. RIGHT. During my stay and after.
