Four stars? That's a joke...

The receptionist was quite rude and unfriendly. The room they gave me was ample but with outdated furniture and not very clean (dead cockroach included). The bathroom was old and unconfortable. The hotel entrance was consistently missed by taxis and ubers... I was completely misled by the hotel's qualification. I don't usually write bad reviews, but feel obliged to warn out other users...

Clean room, but broken

Reviewed 19 november, 2018

No one at the front desk spoke English. Check in was easy as I paid in advance. The room was okay for the price, and clean. Dollars are not accepted. Food prices were good. Very good breakfast buffet (for about $9/person). Problems: The clock in the clock radio wouldn't work, so I Googled Spanish and gave the note to the front desk. Next day, no new radio. There was also a small water leak between the toilet and the shower. Then the smoke detector starting beeping for low battery. More Spanish phrase Googling. Engineering came up, looked at (not fixed) the water leak, replaced the battery, and took the clock radio with him. The next day, after working the Expo, I came back and walked to the desk. I looked down and saw wet shoe prints on the floor. The same clock radio was returned but still didn't work. I put more towels on the water leak, then more Googling Spanish notes for the front desk, and took the radio down there with a note attached saying it was crap. Finally, on my last day, the radio was replaced and there was no water leak. Well not until I used the plumbing and the shower.

Outdated, lots of things to fix

We stay just one night, the employees are very friendly and try to help, we found the place dirty, dusty and the furniture very old showing lack of maintenance. Doors no working properly, bathroom very uncomfortable, no shower door, toilet unstable, no ice dispensers in the entire buildings, too much to mention, if you are in need of an emergency room in Guadalajara, this hotel makes the job, but don't expect a great rest or at least comfortable stay, mostly is sleep and go! We find cost-benefits ratio very low.

Absolutely a Good hotel close to the Expo.

First time in this hotel and I m very satified. Very clean even if the shower should be refurbished, at least in my room. The room was very comfortable. The beakfast is very mexican, a very very good buffet with the chef cooking in teal time for you. In case you don t like mexican food in the morning there's always fruit and yogurt and cereals. Staff always available to support you in case of need. Good position for the Expo. Good price for an hotel like this. A bit far from the centre but by taxi is around 80-90 pesos. 15 minutes. If I ll be another time in Guadalajara for the EXPOI ll return here for sure.

Dirty water in this hotel

Reviewed 4 may, 2017

This is how the cold water goes in the bathroom, all the morning until afternoon. So if you need to leave the hotel you can t !! It s 1:30 pm now and we were unable to use the bathroom. We should have made the check out to travel 8 hours and booked and paid the next hotel.
