  • * Kids under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times * Outside food is allowed, but you can't bring in alcohol, glass items, or fast food straws and lids * Pets are not allowed, except service animals. Service animals may not be permitted in some areas. * Zoo Atlanta’s Service Animal Admittance Policy meets the requirements defined by law under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This Policy defines service animals as dogs or miniature horses who are trained to perform a specific task for an individual with a disability. Emotional support animals and other animals are not permitted on Zoo grounds. Admission is free for military with valid military ID (active-duty, reserves, veterans, and retired members) and children under 3 years old. Last admission is 1 hour and 30 minutes before closing. * Scan your smartphone ticket at the admission gates * Food and drinks may be purchased with cash, debit or credit card * Food stands close an hour prior to the grounds closing, rides close a half-hour prior * Paid parking is available on-site for a rate of $3 an hour for a maximum daily rate of $12
