The Parnaíba Delta is the third largest oceanic delta in the world. Rare natural phenomenon that occurs only on the Nile River in Africa and the Mekong in Vietnam. Its configuration resembles an open hand, where the fingers would represent the main tributaries of the Parnaíba, which branch out forming a grandiose ecological sanctuary.
