This great adventure departs every day from Cancun during the whale shark season (from May to September). During the season, whale sharks come to the sea surrounding the island of Contoy and Holbox, in order to mate and feed. They are very docile and friendly and can measure up to 15 meters in length.   • Go with comfortable clothes, slippers, bathing suit, biodegradable sunscreen, towel and cash;;
  • Activity available from June 1st to September 10th. Even within the informed period, the sight of the whale shark is not guaranteed, as the tour is carried out at sea.
  • Departure from hotels: depending on the hotel where you will be staying - the time is informed at the destination at least 1 day in advance by an employee of our local supplier;
  • Children under 5 years old are not allowed to participate;
  • The minimum age to perform this activity is 5 years, so it is necessary to present an official document with a photo to prove the required age.
  • It is the traveler's sole responsibility to have all the necessary documentation up to date, so research in advance everything that is required at the destination of your activity.
