  • * On closed dates this site may still be open, please check English Heritage directly for more information. * From 11th November to the 17th March access to the house will be by guided tours only. There are several catering options such as the elegant Terrace Restaurant and Orangery, Petty Officer’s Quarters and the Beach Pavillion. Between the period of the 9th November-16th March, ( excluding 27th December-1st January and 15th February-23rd February ) access to the house will be by guided tours only. There is no possibility to pre book a tour so visitor will be allocated to the next available tour upon arrival at site. Please note that Ground Floor House and grounds are open only. * Kids under 5 get in free, select a free ticket for them * The average recommended length for a visit is 2+ hours * Show your smartphone ticket at the admission desk * From 11th November to the 17th March ( excluding between Christmas and New Year and February Half Term ), access to the house will be by guided tours only. * Tours take roughly 45 minutes, and are run every 20 minutes between 10am and 3pm. * On arrival, you will be allocated the next available tour of the house. * Security checks are in place. Please do not bring big bags * Only assistance dogs are allowed in the house
