Established in 2006, the Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi produced and organized 50+ exhibitions ranging from ancient to modern and contemporary art, including artists like Ai Weiwei, Carsten Höller, and Marina Abramović or critically acclaimed exhibitions such as Pontormo and Rosso Fiorentino, or Verrocchio, Leonardo's master.

- **Public Transportation** * By train: Florence Santa Maria Novella station is just a 6-minute walk * By bus: Palazzo Strozzi is reachable with the main city lines. The nearest stops are: Stazione di Santa Maria Novella, Piazza del Duomo, Via Tornabuoni, Piazza della Repubblica Kids under 6, visitors with disabilities (and accompanying persons) get in free. No need for a ticket. Show your smartphone ticket at the entrance.
