Ride a RIB speedboat that's faster than the wind and take to Skjálfandi Bay where larger whales swim. With 24 species of whales in the area, there's a good chance of seeing a variety of beautiful sea behemoths.
Description
The ones likely to be spotted are humpbacks, minkes, blue whales, harbor porpoises, and the white-beaked dolphin. From April 15 to August 15 (approximately) you can take a trip to Puffin Island. Around 70% of Arctic Puffins nest around Iceland, so the opportunity is rife for wildlife lovers.

Important informations
- * The tour on RIB speedboats is not allowed for passengers with heart or back problems or pregnant women * The season to watch Puffins is until August 15 * Kids must be a minimum of 8 years old or 130 cm tall to be allowed to board RIB speedboats * Please show your smartphone ticket to the staff at Gentle Giants ticket office (with the big blue flags) * The check-in is at least 40 minutes before the departure * If no whales or dolphins are seen on the tour, you will be offered a voucher for a traditional whale watching tour on oak boats free of charge, however, no refund is given * We recommend bringing your own warm and waterproof clothes, footwear, and protective bags for cameras as it can be cold and wet out at sea * Schedule can be modified for your safety and comfort, even with short notice, should weather or other conditions change
