After being picked up at your hotel you'll be getting on the boat at La Paz' downtown pier. A short boat ride, generally around 30 min., takes you to the shallow waters off the Mogote peninsula where the whale sharks gather to feed on plankton.

- We recommend bringing waterproof clothing, a hat, sunscreen and footwear with rubber soles. You need to wear a swimming costume or trunks and water shoes.
