Important informations

  • Any and all possible direct contact with wild animals will be monitored by the expedition support team.
  • The vessel has 02 or 03 floors (depending on the number of passengers) and has 04 crew members, with a maximum capacity of 25 people.
  • All meals are served inside the vessel, alcoholic beverages are not included, if desired, the participant can bring their own alcoholic beverages (except beers), as they are available for purchase inside the vessel.
  • It is recommended to bring cash in case you want to buy handicrafts from the Indians or to pay the jungle hotel if that is the option. Drinks on board can be paid for by card or cash.
  • Ideally, you should arrive the day before the Expedition to sleep in Manaus (overnight not included).

  • Travel Insurance: the period of coverage of this insurance is during the entire expedition (from the departure at the meeting point of the hotel in Manaus until the return to the same or to the airport).
  • The place where the boat is moored is very close to the inns that offer the overnight service. Participants who choose to stay overnight at these inns are taken with a smaller boat to the place. The overnight stay in these inns is not included in the package.
  • Return: on the way back, the transport leaves the participants at the hotel, if there is someone with the return plane on the same day, the transport takes you to the airport free of charge. Ideally, the return flight is after 18:00 hours.
  • What to bring: light bathing suits, long-sleeved shirt, pants and closed shoes for hiking in the jungle, hat, mosquito repellent and sunscreen and raincoat.
  • Telephone: after leaving Manaus and arriving on the boat where we embark to Rio Negro we will no longer have internet and mobile phone signal.
