  • * Kids 0-4 cannot access St. George's Tower * Those unable to climb the tower may watch the 'Story of Oxford Castle' video at the bottom with a guardian and re-join the group when they return * Luggage is not allowed on the tour. Lockers are available in the gift shop * Prams and pushchairs that do not fit through the doors must be left at the reception where they will be looked after by the staff * Pets are not allowed, with the exception of registered assistance dogs * No parking available on-site. Parking can be found at Oxpens, Worcester Street, and Gloucester Green – all a short walking distance from Oxford Castle and Prison * Admission is by guided tour only * Kids 0-4 are free; pick up a free ticket for them on-site * Tours are in English only. Translation sheets are available in French, German, Italian, and Spanish * Show your smartphone ticket at the admissions desk. Please make sure to arrive 10 minutes before your booked timeslot * During busy periods, you may have to wait a short while until the next tour is available * After the one-hour tour, your tour guide will tell you where you can explore at your own leisure * Tickets include access to the Mound. However, the Mound may be closed in wet weather or unsafe conditions * Tours may vary according to the season and special events
