Paris's Army Museum (Musée de l'Armée) is one of the three largest arms museums in the world, and home to one of the biggest military history and art collections on the planet. None other than Napoleon Bonaparte has been resting here since 1861, in his tomb. Get priority entrance into this military-minded collection of arms, armor, and art.

  • * The security check is mandatory for all visitors * Big bags & suitcases aren't allowed inside and there are no lockers available Night Entry: * Available the 1st Friday of the month only * Entry valid from 18:00 to 22:00 only Getting There: * The museum is within walking distance of the Varenne, École Militaire, and La Tour-Maubourg metro stations. * South entrance : Place Vauban, from 2pm to 6pm * North entrance : 129 rue de Grenelle, from 10am to 6pm * Free: under-18s, job seekers & RSA recipients * For EU citizens under 26: free for permanent collection only. Reduced available onsite for exhibitions * Night Ticket: 1st Friday of the month only * Do not queue, present your ticket directly from your smartphone at the entrance of the museums and the Dome (Tomb of Napoleon) * Visitors benefiting from free access to the Museum must collect a ticket at the cash desks, including when accompanying visitors already in possession of tickets * Last admission is 30 minutes before closing time * Please note that different parts of the venue may be partially or completely closed depending on the day.
