- * Dress appropriately in hiking boots, waterproof pants, and warm outdoor clothing * Hiking boots are available to rent at an additional cost * Skaftafell is located 327km (203 miles) from Reykjavík. The nearest towns to Skaftafell are Kirkjubæjarklaustur (69km to the west) and Höfn (130km to the east) * Appropriate activity for children 8+ * Please bring your own food and drinks for this 4-hour experience * Show your smartphone ticket at the Skaftafell Booking Center * Staff will provide you with included gear and connect you with your guide * Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the departure time indicated on your ticket * Departure Point: Arctic Adventures Booking Hut in Skaftafell National Park (next to the visitor center)
