The Sacramento History Museum is housed in a reproduction of the 1854 City Hall and Waterworks building. The location is also the traditional territory and ancestral homelands of the Nisenan Tribal people.

- Metered parking and two parking garages are located within the Old Sacramento district. Reciprocal card holders (NARM and Time Travelers) do not need tickets.
