- * Animals are not allowed inside (except for service dogs) * Tickets are valid for day admission only and cannot be used for special events like Festival of Lights Tours: * You can get seasonal self-guided tour pamphlets and/or visitor guide maps at the information desk * From 1 Apr - 31 Oct, guided tours are offered by trained volunteers (daily at 13:00, plus Wednesdays at 10:30). From 1 Nov - 31 Mar: only on Sundays at 13:00 * Please note: all tours are weather permitting * The VanDusen Gift Shop and The Garden Cafe (Truffles) are open daily during Garden hours. * Children under 4 can enter for free * Minimum age without an adult is 13 * This ticket is NOT valid for Festival of Lights * Show your smartphone ticket to the admissions team upon arrival at the gardens. * Do not walk in the plant beds * Don't feed the animals, pick plants or flowers * Don't remove plant labels
