- **How to get there?** * Public transport: if you are travelling by public transport, the zoo can be reached by the following routes: U4 (underground): Station Hietzing * Tramway: 10, 52, 60 * Bus: 51A, 56A, 56B, 58A * Reduced tickets for disabled people (50%) & seniors with minimum pensions available on-site * Kids 0-6 get in for free * Show your smartphone ticket at the entrance * Tiergarten Schönbrunn is on the grounds of Schönbrunn Palace. In order to reach the main entrance to the zoo please use the park entrance gate "Hietzinger Tor" * Keep your admission ticket ready to be shown * Tickets are no longer valid once you leave the zoo Please note that dogs and other animals cannot be taken into any part of the palace grounds – including the zoo. Visitors are also asked to keep off the grass. Assistance dogs (with ID card, immunisation record and official assistance dog harness vest) are permitted. The following vaccinations are mandatory for all service dogs entering the zoo: rabies, distemper, parvovirus, leptospirosis and infectious canine hepatitis (ICH).
