The Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi moved to Vienna in 1740, three years after the completion of the impressive Karlskirche - St. Charles' Church. However, Vivaldi’s stay in Vienna was not very lucky. Impoverished, he died here on 28 July 1741 and was buried at Karlskirche.

His tomb, like the one of Mozart, was unfortunately not preserved. - * Please be aware that the venue (church) can get cold in the wintertime * Please pay respect to the venue (church) * Early appearance is recommended * Children must be accompanied by an adult * Minimum age is 6 years - this is a classical concert and might not suit children under 6 years of age * Ticket needs to be exchanged at the box office (at the venue) at least 20 minutes before the concert starts * Box office (at the venue) open on concert days 9:15 am – 8:15 pm * The concert starts at 8:15 pm; doors open at 7:45 pm * Getting there by bus: The closest bus stop is "Schwarzenbergplatz". It is a quick 5-minute walk to the redemption point. Buses 4A, N71, N75, and more will get you there. Getting there by tram: The closest tram stop is "Gußhausstraße". It is a quick 5-minute walk to the redemption point. Tram D will get you there * You can not leave the concert hall and enter again during the concert - please use a restroom before the concert
